Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired?
Several years ago, I was dealing with chronic fatigue, brain fog, and depression. I would come home from work, sit on the couch and just stare at the TV, watching sitcoms. I needed to find a way to laugh to wake my brain up. For a long time, I wanted my own business, I read books, took classes, dreamt about doing it but for some reason wasn’t able to get myself going. I was seriously lacking motivation.
I had the desire and made some effort but I was lacking motivation to really go for what I wanted. In many ways, I was very active, playing sports and going out with friends, but there were times of the day, when I felt useless, unable to focus or do anything meaningful outside of my day job. I made some effort, but I never really went for it.
Slowly Waking Up
It was a long slow process for me, but I slowly started making positive changes that allowed me to feel better and have more energy. I began doing more cooking and less baking. Eating more veggies and less starchy foods. I drank fewer calorie filled drinks and focused on drinking more water.
Instead of watching programs for entertainment, I started watching programs for education. I read books about creating the life I wanted. They were small changes that didn’t change my life overnight, but it felt good to be making positive changes. It felt good to be moving in the right direction and to no longer be lacking motivation.
Spreading The Message
Over time, my lifestyle change changes had such a profound impact that I began coaching others and building a community committed to a healthy lifestyle. It started with just telling friends and coworkers. I think I annoyed a few people in the beginning, but over time they could see the effect of the positive changes I was making. Eventually, I got certified as a coach and opened my own studio.

Your lifestyle has a profound impact on this. The foods you eat, the activities you do. The people and information you expose yourself to are shaping you in a fundamental way
One Step At A Time
Begin with small changes, even just one improvement that you implement consistently could be the domino that sets everything in motion. Just drinking more water, or getting up earlier and going for a walk can make all the difference. If you aren’t motivated, start spending more time with people who are motivated. Their energy and vitality can help to inspire you if you are lacking motivation.
